A local Mansfield radio station is claiming that a Championship club has tabled a bid for former Bull Sam Clucas.

Mansfield 103.2 'understands' that a bid has been placed for Clucas, who has resumed full training at Field Mill, by an unnamed club. The Bulls hold a 15% sell-on clause on the winger over and above the original transfer fee.

When asked by the club's official site for a comment, boss Paul Cox would only say: "The interest in Sam doesn't surprise me as he is a quality footballer."
