The 22-year-old has made nine appearances since he initially joined us on loan in November.

Westlake, who started his career with Walsall, featured on 67 occasions in the Football League for the Saddlers, before penning a two-year deal at Bramall Lane in June 2012.

He helped the Blades reach the League One Play-Offs last season, making 17 appearances.

Westlake could now feature in Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two match with Scunthorpe United at One Call Stadium on Saturday.

In other transfer news, it is also hoped that a deal can be agreed with Sheffield United, which would see Darryl Westlake return to One Call Stadium.

The 23-year-old’s loan with us expired last weekend.

Murray added: “The gaffer has been in talks with Sheffield United during his loan period. He’s been excellent for us and I think it’s a case of getting the paperwork done.

“Hopefully, he’ll be with us for the rest of the season.”
