Happy New Year to all Stags fans.

In 2013, Mansfield Town were promoted back to the Football League after 5 years in the Football Conference, including a club record-breaking run of 12 consecutive wins. The Stags also gave Liverpool a good run for their money in the FA Cup.

A few other stats from 2013:

The Stags won more league games than any other club currently in the Football League or Premier League in 2013:
Mansfield 27 wins, Arsenal 25, Brentford, Leyton Orient, Man City 24.

The Stags won more away league games than any other club:
Mansfield 15 away wins, Arsenal, Rotherham 13.

The Stags also picked up more points:
Mansfield 88 points, Leyton Orient 85, Brentford 83, Arsenal 82.

The Stags scored the second most league goals in 2013:
Liverpool 84 goals, Mansfield 83, Man City 82.

Mansfield did play about 10 more league games than the Premier League clubs of course, and also played 2/3 more than Leyton Orient/Brentford&Rotherham respectively:
Number of games played: Mansfield 48 games, Leyton Orient 46, Brentford, Rotherham 45, Arsenal 38, Liverpool, Man City 37.
Mansfield's record includes games played in the Conference, but other Conference clubs, except Newport, are not included)
