Happy New Year to all Stags fans.
In 2013, Mansfield Town were promoted back to the Football League after 5 years in the Football Conference, including a club record-breaking run of 12 consecutive wins. The Stags also gave Liverpool a good run for their money in the FA Cup. A few other stats from 2013: The Stags won more league games than any other club currently in the Football League or Premier League in 2013: Mansfield 27 wins, Arsenal 25, Brentford, Leyton Orient, Man City 24. The Stags won more away league games than any other club: Mansfield 15 away wins, Arsenal, Rotherham 13. The Stags also picked up more points: Mansfield 88 points, Leyton Orient 85, Brentford 83, Arsenal 82. The Stags scored the second most league goals in 2013: Liverpool 84 goals, Mansfield 83, Man City 82.
