Matchday Coaching FC are a recently formed youth football club, we have been running for little over 2 months and already the work we have achieved has put us on par with local teams in terms of having a facility and the Charter Standard status just awaiting the affiliation number to confirm us as one of 2000 Charter Standard clubs in England (very possibly the quickest Charter Standard affiliation to date). We also have our own facility which has work currently being undertaken on it for the whole club to use as a training base next summer.
We have 5 teams currently at 5 age groups the following require players to play on Sunday mornings in the Kickstart League at Benticnk Miners Welfare Under 7's Under 8's Under 9's Under 10's We regret that due to a lack of interest in the under 11's we will no longer be running an under 11's team on a Saturday. Ability isnt a problem, we believe there is a benefit to every child when involved in team sport, obvious things such as fitness and exercise are of course apparent, but we also believe we should build our players to become better people as well as footballers, building key life skills such as confidence, friendship making and above all Respect for each other. Anyone interested in becoming involved in anyway through coaching, helping out maintaining the pitches, sponsorship no matter how small or big the donation we have a lot of opportunities to promote your business as well. We also need people willing to do us some favours to get our home ground looking fit for a premiership team to play on with sign-age, fencing etc. We are a brand new club and need as much help as possible. But first the teams need a few more players, so if you know of anyone interested or have a child interested yourself bring them down and get to know the coaches and were sure you'll enjoy it both as a parent and a player.
