The Reds had Josh Law, Connor Franklin, Aden Flint and Liam Hearn all named in the 11, along with Eastwood Town's Lee Stevenson, who has since joined Mansfield Town.

Winger Louis Briscoe, who was the Stags' top scorer with 19 goals, was named in the Blue Square Bet Premier team of the season.

Former Eastwood manager Paul Cox, now at the Stags, said: "I think both Lee and Louis deserved their nominations.

"They are players who were released by Sheffield Wednesday and Port Vale respectively and have worked their way back up in non-league to a position where they can showcase their talent."

The full Blue Square Bet North team of the season is: Young (Telford); Law (Alfreton); Franklin (Alfreton); Killock (Telford); Flint (Alfreton); Mills (Telford); Stevenson (Eastwood Town); Newton (Telford); Brayson (Blyth Spartans); Hearn (Alfreton); James Walshaw (Guiseley).
