SHANE SMELTZ SCORES IN WORLD CUP

Former Stags striker Shane Smeltz scored for New Zealand in their 1-1 draw with Italy in the World Cup in South Afraica. Smeltz played five times for the Stags in Jan-Feb 2005, under Carlton Palmer. Below we see Smeltz in action in the Stags 1-0 win against Notts County at Meadow Lane on 5 Feb 2005, in front of 3600 travelling Stags fans. The excellent photos were taken by Dan Westwell.
