We would have liked a home tie, but I am not overly disappointed," said Stags chairman Andy Perry.

"It is a means to an end as we want a route to the third round to draw one of the big boys and this is a game from which I am quite confident we can come away with something.

"It was never a case of being satisfied with getting to the first round.

"As away ties goes this is a very winnable one and there were another 78 teams in the draw and we could have ended up having to go to somewhere like Barrow or Exeter."

Manager David Holdsworth told the club's officla website mansfieldtown.net: "I doubt Forest Green will have wanted to draw us.

"It's never an easy place to go, but this is the FA Cup. It's a game that we can win."

Stags received £12,500 prize money for getting through yesterday's tie with a further £25,000 in the bank if they can get past Forest Green.
