The 17-year-old signed a one year deal yesterday, with an option of a further year after completing two seasons as a youth scholar. He was a regular in the Stags' youth team last season and played a handful of games in the reserves. After his signing, he spoke to the club's website http://www.mansfieldtown.net: "I am delighted right now. I will work my socks off on the training ground and try and progress with this club." Manager David Holdsworth also told http://www.mansfieldtown.net: "Ben is a talented young man with a bright future ahead of him.
