BOULDING BROTHERS SIGN FOR BRADFORD
25th July 2008 23:18

Bradford sign Boulding brothers
BBC.co.uk, 25 July 2008
Bradford City have signed former Mansfield strikers Michael Boulding and his brother Rory.

Michael who is 32 and Rory, 21, have both signed two-year deals at the League Two club.

Manager Stuart McCall told the club's official website: "Michael was our first choice because he offers something different.

"I'm also pleased to have Rory on board, he will be there to push the main strikers."

And McCall explained why Michael is different to the strikers he already has: "He's someone who can get in behind the defence with a bit of pace."

Michael scored 22 league goals for Mansfield Town as they were relegated to the Blue Square Premier last season.

He was expected to join Cheltenham Town before deciding on the switch to Valley Parade.

His brother Rory has made four league starts for Mansfield since beginning his career there as a trainee.

Both players have now joined up with the Bradford squad on their pre-season tour of Scotland.
