New court date for Stags chairman

MANSFIELD Town FC chairman James Derry –– was again bailed by Newark magistrates today.
Derry (55) first admitted the charge in June and had his case put back until 2nd July for sentencing –– although this was delayed on a further two occasions by magistrates, who put the case back for reports.

The case has now been put back for a fourth time, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for 24th October.

The Mansfield Town FC chairman –– who was excused from attending court –– was stopped by police as he drove along the A46 Newark ring road on 11th May this year.

He was found to have 60mgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath –– compared to the legal limit of 35.
