BEARDSLEY GOES ON LOAN TO RUSHDEN

Beardo out on loan Stags' striker Chris Beardsley has signed on loan to Conference club Rushden & Diamonds. Beardsley has signed an initial one month deal with the struggling club but hopes that his presence there will help them secure a safer table position: "I was too far down the pecking order at Mansfield and you can quickly lose match fitness if you are not playing regular football. So I am glad to be able to go to a club where I will be able to start to playing again and I hope that I can play my part in helping Rushton secure a safe position in the division" he told the official website this morning. |
