Stags all set for Spanish superstars

Mansfield Town will pit themselves against the might of Spanish giants Alaves in their final pre-season friendly at Field Mill tonight (7.45pm).

Alaves, who lost a ding-dong UEFA Cup final with Liverpool two seasons ago, are on an English tour and should test Stags to the full.
In Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Lincoln, Mansfield boss Stuart Watkiss gave most of his squad 45 minutes, including his youngsters.
But tonight will see him more or less play his starting XI for the new season, though his plans may be disrupted by the current injury list.
"We are all looking forward to playing the Spaniards and we have nothing to fear," said assistant manager Neil Richardson.
"We are on our home turf so it's up to us to show them what we can do.
"They may have the upper hand in experience, having played at the highest level of European competition, but they have never played at Field Mill before so it's a learning curve for them as well!"
Admission tonight is £6 adults and £2 concessions - all on the turnstiles.
