The 25 year old midfielder made his first league start for the Seasiders in their opening away victory over Bournemouth at Dorchester Town in August 2001 Played his part in Blackpool's LDV success but was limited to appearances mainly from the bench in league fixtures. Had a disappointing end of the campaign, was forced to watch much of the action from the sidelines due to a troublesome groin injury.
