Wolverhampton Wanderers - Stag ace a summer target? 05 Apr 2006 12:38 Wolves are on the trail of Mansfield midfielder Giles Coke and have been alerted by the player's rejection of a new two-year contract at Field Mill. The highly-rated schemer has been attracting plenty of interest over the last few months after a string of impressive displays for the League Two outfit. Reading and Watford have also been linked with the 19-year-old who has grabbed 6 goals so far this season but it is believed Wolves are leading the race. Coke is out-of-contract in the summer but as he is under the age of 24 he would command a compensation package but that is unlikely to put off a list of potential suitors. |
