HERON JOINS HEDNESFORD
22nd February 2006 0:08

Danny Heron signs for Hednesford Town. A bit of confusion because http://www.nonleaguedaily.com say its on loan, but the actual Hednesford site doesn't make any mention of the loan bit.

Double signing for Pitmen

Hednesford Town can now confirm two signings ahead of this evening's vital Nationwide North home clash with Moor Green.
First of all it's a big welcome back for former favourite ANTHONY MAGUIRE who this season has been with Halesowen Town and then Bromsgrove Rovers. He has just completed a three game ban and is therefore eligible for tonight's game.
We are also delighted to welcome to Keys Park 19 year old Danny Heron who joins us from Mansfield Town. Danny is a striker, who again goes straight into the squad for tonight's match.
The game kicks off at 7.45pm.

NEW PITMEN FAIL TO STOP THE ROT

Hednesford Town confirmed two signings ahead of Tuesday's disappointing Nationwide North defeat at home to Moor Green that saw the Pitmen fall deeper into trouble at the foot of the table.

Hednesford have welcomed back former favourite Anthony Maguire (pictured), who this season has been with Southern League Premier Division side Halesowen Town and then Division One West outfit Bromsgrove Rovers.

He has just completed a three-game ban and was therefore eligible for the Moor Green game.

Also arriving, albeit on loan at Keys Park, is 19-year-old Danny Heron, who joins from Coca-Cola League Two side Mansfield Town.

Striker Heron has made a handful of first-team appearances for the Stags and he went straight into the side at Keys Park on Monday night.
