Port Vale Reserves 0 Stags Reserves 1 06 Feb 2006 Stags Reserves turned out for a match for the first time since November at least at Port Vales Training Ground this afternoon. Port Vale featuring 5 first team players including the ex Forest star Danny Sonner started the brighter but Stags soon started to bite in midfield and with a strong defence matched the home side by half time. The second half saw the Stags take control and play some fine football, and the game was won when Lloyd played a excellent through ball for Heron to tuck past the home keeper.
