21st October 2005 0:19

Issue 60 of Follow the Yellow Brick Road will be on sale on Saturday before the game against Barnet. It will be on sale from around the ground from about 1pm.

It is another cracking read, with the highlight being an exclusive in-depth interview with Stags midfield star Giles Coke, carried out just before Carlisle game.

Steve Hartshorn gives his views on Carlton Palmer's time as Mansfield manager, while Martin Shaw and Paul Taylor exclusively reveal Mansfield Town's ten worst managers, and Carlton Palmer is only number two!

In an article called “The time of my life”, Shaun Knight talks about his experiences of watching the Stags, and the trials and tribulations of following Mansfield from deepest, darkest Devon. Meanwhile Dan Westwell describes his journeys up and down the country in “The 92 club”.

There's all the latest SSA news including a complete list of birthdays of junior members; plus future attractions from the SSA with the latest details concerning the Stags next 6 away games.

Paul Taylor continues his excellent “A to Z of the Stags” with part 4, J to L, including the jubilee fund, Kevin Kent, and an exclusive in-depth look at the Stags history in the league cup, plus topically the least points the Stags have ever achieved in a season.

There's the usual Travel Sickness, with all the emotions of the trips to Chester, Rochdale, Macclesfield, Leyton Orient and Carlisle. Plus “There's no place like home”, with a brave fan's views of recent games at Field Mill.

Finally there's a detailed look at FTYBR FC, with news of joining the IFA, and reports of a recent victory over Darlington plus defeat against Notts Forest, and a team photo.

Don't you dare miss out on your copy, priced £1.50.
