RUNDLE: A BIG WIN AND WE'RE OFF
Evening Post, 07 October 2005
Adam Rundle is confident someone will be on the receiving end of a heavy Stags victory soon and he hopes it will be Shrewsbury tonight.

The 21-year-old former Darlington and Carlisle winger believes one good win could be all the Stags need to kick-start a run to get out of the bottom two.

He said: "The lads have looked confident in training and the last few defeats have not really affected the confidence in the camp.

"There have been plenty of games where we have played well and not got anything out of them.

"Everyone seems to be confident and we all feel it will only be a matter of time before we get out of it."

Rundle came on as a half-time substitute in Saturday's 3-1 defeat against high-flying Leyton Orient and is expected to start tonight while Adam Birchall is away with the Welsh Under-21 squad.

He said: "I was in the team last season but this year has been a bit stop-start for me.

"But we have to start taking our chances and one day we are going to give someone a real hammering. That will be all we need to kick us off. We are creating chances and just not taking them so that is something we have to put right now."
