YOUTH TEAM LOSE TO GRIMSBY

Stags Youth 0 v 2 Grimsby Town Youth
26 July 2005 Keith Parnill at Teversal FC Played at Teversal FC earlier this afternoon. The young Stags totally dominated the first 45 minutes but both teams went in goalless at the break. The Grimsby lads got an almighty bollocking at half time, and scored twice in the first five minutes of the second half. After that it was more of an even game but neither side added to the score. A good game, not a big crowd, as it wasn't widely advertised - mainly player's parents and a few local kids wandering in to see what the noise was all about - I'd say around 35 to 40. Don't ask the team, I've no idea, but it was the same lot that turned out on Saturday, same kit too. I had my camera and took photos, I'll sort 'em out later tonight (going to another game) or early tomorrow - will post the link. ...Oh, and the bacon cobs were lush ;o) |
