26th June 2002 21:57

Stags are all set to return
CHAD, 25 June 2002

IT seems the dust has barely settled on Stags' superb promotion season.

But Stuart Watkiss and his squad are back in pre-season training for the forthcoming Division Two next Wednesday.

And we are just over two weeks away from the first pre-season friendly at Glapwell on Friday, 12th July!

Mansfield Town have confirmed that both their fixtures with Colchester United have been brought back to the Friday evenings.

So Stags will now host a visit from Colchester on Friday, 1st November with the return at Layer Road on Friday, 14th February. In addition, the away match at Cardiff City will now go ahead on Friday, 21st March, 2003.

Stags still have a limited number of places remaining for the club's Golf Day at Rufford Park on 7th August - ring Bob Gorrill on 01623 482482 for details.

The planned new hospitality facilities at Field Mill for next season look set to provide a wealth of fund-raising opportunties for the club.

And commercial manager Bob Gorrill has already put together a series of packages for match day sponsorship for 10, 12 or 16 people, match ball sponsorship for four or six people and programme sponsorship along with a new Mansfield Town Executive Club.

The Executive Club membership will be strictly limited and offers an Executive ticket, and Executive car park pass, a complimentary programme, half-time refreshments and bar facilities for every game played, League, Cup or friendly.

Membership cost is £700 plus VAT for the season. Prices vary on the Match Day Sponsors' packages, depending on the opposition.

All three packages offer a VIP Lounge welcome, executive seating, a carvery with wines, coffee and mints, half-time refreshments, bar facilities, an advert in the match day programme, complimentary programmes, a competition for your guests, car park passes and the presentation of a memento of the occasion plus photos with the Man of the Match.

The package for 10 guests costs between £650-£850 plus VAT with the 12-guest package rising to £750-£950 plus VAT and the programme advert increased to a quarter page.

The 16-guest package is £1,00-£1,500 plus VAT with the programme advert up to a half page.

Match Ball sponsors receive the same as the Match Day sposnors and also get to present the match ball to the officials on the pitch before the game.

A package for four guests costs from £200 plus VAT and for six guests £300 plus VAT.

Stags are planning a host of events to boost funds throughout the season including sportsman's dinners, ladies' dinners, mixed dinners/cabaret evenings, golf days, days at the races and theme nights.
