Boss set for cricket clash
Teamtalk, 2 June 2002 Stuart Watkiss will take part in an all star cricket match tomorrow as part of a tribute towards former cricket legend Harold Larwood. The game is part of the celebrations for the unveiling of a statue of local hero Larwood in his home town. Management duo Watkiss and Neil Richardson will be donning their whites as will young defender Jamie Clarke and youth team coach Paul Holland. Former Notts and England star Tim Robinson will be playing as will Notts manager and former South African star Clive Rice, current local hero Paul Franks (Notts and England) and Mick Newell of Notts, with other names yet to be confirmed. The statue will be unveiled at 10.30am with the Kirkby Portland CC v Celebrity All Stars game starting at 2pm. |
