CLARKE WANTS HOME DEBUT
30th May 2002 12:29

Town youngster Jamie Clarke's immediate ambition is to play in front of the Field Mill faithful after making his debut last season.
Utility player Clarke, who has just signed his first professional contract with the newly-promoted Stags, made his full debut away at Luton Town last campaign which has given him a taste he wants more of.
But he admitted: "I would just love to go out there and play in front of our home crowd.
"Hopefully I can get myself a bit of a run in the first team next season and make a bit of a name for myself.
"After the Luton game I was really buzzing and I can't wait to play again, especially a home game.
"This is going to be a big pre-season for us. All the lads that finished the season in the first team will have a head start as they deserve the chance to show what they can do in the Second Division.
"But I will be going all out to prove I am worth a place in the side as well."
