TEAM MANSFIELD BID REJECTED BY KEITH HASLAM

Mansfield 103.2 have reported this morning that TEAM Mansfield's recent formal offer to acquire Mansfield Town Football Club has been rejected by Chairman Keith Haslam. Haslam feels it is not the correct time to enter into informal negotiations because of the uncertainty surrounding the club.

Joint TEAM Mansfield Chair Colin Dobell said “We appear to have a consensus on some general principles but there is no desire by the Chairman to move negotiations forward in the current climate, which we find somewhat surprising. Whilst this is disappointing, the TEAM Mansfield Board will continue to keep an open dialogue with Mansfield Town Football Club with a view to re-starting negotiations. This is a difficult time for our football club and TEAM Mansfield is committed to doing whatever we can in the best interests of Mansfield Town Football Club.”
