YOUTH TEAM LOSE 4-3 IN CUP

Mansfield Town youth team lost 4-3 at Doncaster Rovers in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup first round on Saturday morning.
Sat Oct 2 Doncaster 4 Stags Youth 3 Report by Donny Don (with thanks to John Street) Stags Youth team went out in the Cup at Cantley Road, Doncaster on Saturday morning, but the effort and team work was excellent throughout. The game was played in awful windy conditions and the football on show was a credit to both sides, Stags took the lead early on, were pegged back to 2-1 down, went 3-2 ahead and eventually lost in the final minutes 4-3. Stags goals came from Heron, Kemp, and Sleath. Stags Team :- Riley, Macintosh, Kemp, Rennals, Jones, Arnold, Lloyd, Hunt, Sleath, Heron, Lonsdale. Subs Used: Zaccarius, Trialist, Messum |
