"I know other results didn't go for us but there will still be more twists to come," said manager Keith Curle.
"It was important we came here and won and I was delighted with the lads.
"It was a good display on a difficult, bobbly pitch with long grass. It was important we won just to stay in it.
"Now is the time we all come together as a club. It is easy to knock players, the manager or the chairman. But I want to see everyone come together behind this club now and show their support.
"The fans who made the trip to Boston were magnificent - true supporters."

Boston manager Steve Evans admitted a better side had beaten the Pilgrims after they lost against promotion chasing Mansfield.

Evans said: "We're very disappointed. I thought in the first half we played well and we controlled the midfield but everything seemed to change after the break.

"Mansfield turned it up a little and I think the two goals we gave away were extremely sloppy.

"If you switch off for a second against a side like Mansfield it costs you the game and that's what happened to us.

"We did have a couple of chances late on after we had pulled one back but Mansfield were just too goo for us. I don't have any complaints about the scoreline.

"I don't want supporters to think that we're already looking at next season because I'm taking very game that we have left extremely seriously and I want to win them all."
