Evening Post:
WHITE LOAN DEAL EXTENDED
Mansfield striker Andy White has extended his loan deal with Kidderminster Harriers by a further month.

White was due back at Field Mill after Christmas following a successful two-month loan spell with Jan Molby's side.

But the Harriers boss and former Liverpool midfielder wants White to stay for another four weeks and has agreed with Keith Curle to keep him until the end of January.

The 22-year-old, who is a first-team regular with the Harriers and has scored one goal during his loan spell, will continue to train with the Stags and travel down to Kidderminster to play on match days.

Curle insists there is still a bright future for the striker at Field Mill. He said: "I have spoke to Jan and he's pleased with Andy's contribution.

"I spoken to Andy and we agreed to extend the deal by another month.

"The door is not shut on him here but this is the best for him at the moment, as he is training with us and getting a game on a Saturday.

"I watched him against York and he did not have his best game. But having spoken to Jan, he said they all had a bad day and it did not reflect his contribution the rest of the time.

"But he is working hard and will continue playing for them until the end of January."
