mansfieldtown.net reports that Junior Mendes, Tom Curtis, Tony Vaughan and Jason White have all responded well to treatment following minor knocks and niggles picked up throughout the week and are all in contention for Saturday's trip to Northampton, Keith Curle told the official website this afternoon.
The only squad member still missing is Adam Eaton who had another injection into the problem area yesterday but despite a slight soreness managed 75 minutes of football during yesterday's Chesterfield friendly where the Stags won the Spireites 3-0 with Iyseden Christie finding the back of the net on two occasions and Callum Lloyd scoring the third. “Adam is still a little sore but his general football and fitness levels have vastly improved and the hard work put in by him and Physio Kev Farley is producing the desired effect – hopefully it won't be too long before Adam is back in the first team” said Curle.
