CURLE DENIES ROTHERHAM INCREASED OFFER

Curle denied reports that Rotherham United have increased their offer for Stags midfielder Liam Lawrence. Mansfield rejected a £125,000 bid last week - consisting of a £75,000 down-payment and two instalments of £25,000. Reports suggested manager Ronnie Moore has upped his offer by a further £25,000. But Curle said: "I can categorically deny those reports. They are untrue. "Neither Ronnie Moore nor Rotherham's chief executive have had further contact with myself or the chairman." |
