MILLERS SET TO MAKE NEW OFFER FOR LIAM

(and also on official Rotherham site http://www.themillers.premiumtv.co.uk ) ROTHERHAM boss Ronnie Moore is still hoping to sign Mansfield forward Liam Lawrence. The Millers recently offered £125,000 for the 22-year-old, Retford-born prospect but the Stags want £300,000. Moore said today: "We'd still like to push on with that, but Mansfield value him above what we think he's worth. "He can score goals and play wide left or right, or in midfield. "I'd also like to see whether we have any more money available, and that's something we'll have to talk about. "Mansfield don't want him to go. He's their best player. "But we didn't want Alan Lee to go. Sometimes there are ways and means of doing things." |
