CURLE HAPPY WITH HIS SQUAD

Stags Boss Keith Curle is happy with the way his small but potent squad is shaping up.
“I have in the changing room, what I consider to be 23 first team players with 22 of them being fit” he told the official website today. “A lot of clubs have used up a large portion of their allocation of loan signings where as I haven't used a single one, this is because I believe that out the 22 players I have available to me that they are enough to deal with anything that this division has to offer. In fact as long as we can stay fit and don't suffer from suspensions there is no requirement to bring in players to help us win promotion.” he added. “12 of the regular 16 are already on the score sheet with goal coming from every area of the park which should answer our critics who believe that we need a 28 goalscorer. I believe that our midfielders are capable of this never mind the strikers and we are on target to score near 100 goals this season.” More details at http://www.mansfieldtown.net |
