Vics' White deal falls through
29 Oct, http://www.nationwide.co.uk/football Northwich Victoria have missed out on the loan signing of Mansfield Town striker Andy White. Recently-installed Vics boss Alvin McDonald is eager to boost his struggling squad, having already brought in Vauxhall Motors goalkeeper Andy Ralph. However, Stags forward White will not be making the switch to Wincham Park. A disappointed McDonald said: "Mansfield were keen and I was keen, but it fell through for whatever reason and I will have to go elsewhere. "But I would rather get someone in permanently if I can, because I'm trying to build a side up." White, 22, has recently returned to Field Mill after an unproductive loan spell with Boston United. |
