YOUTH TEAM BEATEN AT CHESTERFIELD

Chesterfield Youth 3 Stags Youth 1
Report by John Street Stags Youth went down this morning to the Spireites at Saltergate in a hard fought battle. Once again with 6 First Years starting the game and 3 Under 16s as Subs who all came on in the Second half it was a big test for the Young Stags. However poor defending contributed to both early goals conceded and the Stags found themselves 2 - 0 down at the break. In the second half Lloyd got the Stags back in the game with a superb chip from the edge of the box and for a while it looked like a draw was on the cards, however a late Chesterfield goal secured the home side victory.
