In the first half against a strong wind Rotherham led through a cross cum shot which somehow sailed into the top corner, and then a gift from the Stags defence who when clearing there lines handed a goal to the Rotherham strikers to bundle home. Stags who had 75% control of the ball during the game, pushed forward especially in the second half, and got back into the game with a Lloyd corner headed home by John-Baptiste. Parkes prompting in midfield, Lloyd carrying the ball forward and Buxton and John-Baptiste's aerial threat were a worry to the home side in the second half but the Stags couldnt find that deserving second goal.
