FA EXPLAIN WHY THEY DON`T CHARGE SWANSEA

Stags fan John Bodicoat wrote to The Football Association to ask why Swansea had not been charged along with the Stags when at least 2 Swansea players were seen to throw punches (from the TV evidence), following the game in August.
Matthew Wagstaff, Customer Relations from The Football Association, replied that they charged Mansfield (only) because Swansea are under the jurisdiction of the FA of Wales, and the protocol is that The Football Association draw the complaint to their attention. He also said that they can have joint Commissions where appropriate but this is a matter where each Association could deal with their own club. So now you know! Martin |
