CURLE DELIGHTED WITH WIN

Stags boss Keith Curle was delighted with this result on his return to his home city and added: "It was great to win two away games in four days."

Curle said he had concentrated on re-focusing the players' minds after the game at Cambridge on Saturday when Mansfield had two players sent off.

He said: "I had to make sure their mind-set was right and that the lads were up for it.

"We want to be renowned for playing football in the right way. With some of the things that have gone on this season ? having two players sent off in two games ? some people might think we are a rough and tumble team. But, with the football we played in the first half, I think we showed that is not the case.

"I want controlled aggression and good football. We are not a tewm of cloggers."

Curle saw his side wrap this one up in the first half when they led 3-0 with two goals from Craig Disley and one from Junior Mendes. Paul Tait replied with a last-minute penalty for Rovers.
