HIGHEST ATTENDANCE AT FIELD MILL SINCE ...

Following on from calculations over the attendance of 8,653 for the Cheltenham game:
If Stags do get a crowd of 9,400 as anticipated on Saturday, by our calculations, it will be the highest attendance at Field Mill …
… since 30 Jan 1988 (FA Cup, Wimbledon: 10,462, when Stags lost 1-2)
… and the highest for a league game since 26 Apr 1980 (Grimsby: 10,095,when Stags drew 0-0)

Of course, if the crowd is less than 9,209 (see below) this will not be the case.

... since 5 Jan 1991 (FA Cup, Sheffield Wednesday: 9,076, when Stags lost 0-2).
... and the highest for a league game since 1 Apr 1989 (Wolves: 9,209, when Stags won 3-1).
