BILLY AYRE SADLY PASSES AWAY http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk It is with deep regret that Blackpool FC have received the news that Former Manager and fans favourite Billy Ayre has died from Cancer of the Lymph Nodes at the age of just 49. Mr Ayre died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him. ------ Billy Ayre was a popular player and caretaker-manager at Field Mill.
