Wayne has been with the Club for a number of years and last season, played in a varied amount of positions and wore the Captain's armband with honour and pride. As well as getting a couple of goals to help the side along, including the winner away at Tranmere Rovers, he was just what the Manager needed and never flinched in his work as Captain.

This is an award given not only for performance but for making a real difference. Last season this is what Wayne did for the side and for the Manager.
