STOCKFEST – HERE WE GO AGAIN
Well the football’s have
hardly had time to go soft before they are out again to be kicked in
competitive action.
The 16th June
sees FTYBR FC take part in Stockfest. A 11-a-side pre-Worldnet tournament held
in, well, Stockport.
The money raised from
entering the tournament is to go to MS and as well as Stockport, there will be
supporters teams from, Hull City, Tranmere Rovers, Chester City, Manchester
United, West Bromwich Albion and Ayr United.
The whole day should start
at 9 am and finish about 4pm.
Manager Steve Hartshorn
admits the day will be tough,
“There are quite a few good
teams there and no doubt all the other teams have been training. Not us though.
This will be our training so we won’t be taking it all too seriously, we’ll be
going to enjoy the day and again, fly the flag for Mansfield Town, which is
what it is all about.
We have one or two players
out due to one thing or another but as usual, we’ll give it a go.”
A departure time has yet to
be sorted
